11.5 KV CAPACITOR BANK

The metal enclosed medium voltage capacitor banks are designed for indoor and outdoor application in industrial and utility power systems requiring power factor correction, harmonic filtering as per IEC compliances and can increase the system capacity.

The metal-enclosed capacitor banks are designed at 11.5 kV rated voltage, which are factory assembled and type- tested outdoor panels.

It provides a one-step solution for maintaining the power quality in medium voltage networks and comprises of premium range of primary and secondary components, including world-class, highly reliable capacitors.

Capacitor banks improve the power quality by compensating reactive power, improving power factor, or passively mitigating harmonics.

The system can be either configured as fixed or switched, with the switched bank consisting of single or multiple steps, automatically controlled to improve power factor.

The design consists of a compact modular enclosure that combines primary components with secondary control and protection equipment.
