MAIN DISTRIBUTION BOARD (MDB)

The MDB panels are used for electrical power distribution and control, generally installed downstream of transformers or generators. MDB is used to distribute electrical power to numerous individual circuits or consumer points. MDB comprises of free-standing enclosure, bus bar system, circuit breakers, metering and support equipment.

• Panels are supplied with IP42 & IP54 protection class.
• Enclosure manufactured from Electro- Galvanized sheets with 2.0mm thickness and painted with powder coating to required color shade.
• Neutral and earth busbars shall be rated up to 100% of the main busbar.
• MDB panel is available up to 3200A, 65kA/ 3 sec.
• Form of Segregation 2, 3 and 4 designs.
• The incoming circuit provided with voltmeter & ammeter, AC under- voltage relay, phase-sequence relay, earth fault sensing relay and the respective alarm indication & can be customized based on requirement.
• The outgoing feeders from the main distribution circuit individually controlled and protected by means of ACB / MCCB rated at the pertaining circuit loads.
• The protection to be provided by thermal and magnetic release for over load and short circuit trip with time lag and compensation for ambient temperature The adjustment of the over load protection between 80 to 120% of the full load rating.
• Modular system with customized design to meet end user requirements.
